Adoption has always been a calling for our family from the very beginning of our marriage. For several years, we worked with relinquished children overseas and witnessed firsthand the power of love, stability, and faith in transforming a child’s life. In 2020 we felt our hearts and family were ready to embrace ADOPTION. Unfortunately after 4 years of waiting to adopt from China, we were unsuccessful and our case was closed. After a dream, we felt God moving us to pursue adoption locally, we prayerfully reviewed many profiles and children who could potentially be our answered prayer. Yet no one captivated our hearts like Aleeyah.
From the moment we learned about Aleeyah, something within us stirred deeply. We knew she was the one we had been praying for—a perfect fit for our family. Her story, her strength, and her gentle spirit spoke to us in ways we cannot fully express.
We first inquired about Aleeyah in September 10, 2024 and after a long journey, we are happy to share we have been OFFICIALLY MATCHED!
In January 2026 we met Aleeyah for the first time in person and our hearts were immediately connected. We have fostered a healthy relationship with her even across state lines. We are ready to bring Aleeyah HOME and she is anxiously awaiting for that moment. We are so thankful to God for caring for our family and for matching us with Aleeyah. Aleeyah makes all the waiting worthwhile. To God be the GLORY!
We have been beyond blessed to be awarded a $4000 matching grant Fund administered by Lifesong for Orphans and a $4000 matching grant fund administered by First Baptist Church in Orlando. At this time we just need to reach $3,500 to meet ALL of the needs for transitioning Aleeyah to Florida. ”
