Berryman Clan Adopting From China

Lee and Shannon Berryman
Lee and Shannon Berryman Troup, Texas

As we have traveled over the past 17 years (and 12 years of actually living abroad), we have seen so many children who do not have the blessing of a family to love and nurture them. In the developing world there are needs all around us. Needs are endless, but we have learned that if we can focus on the people God has placed in our lives, we can make a significant impact on those few people. We know that we cannot meet the needs of everyone in Asia, but we know God values each and every life and that we can offer a loving, nurturing, and empowering environment for a little one to grow into the human God created him or her to be.

Before we were married, we had discussed the idea of adoption as something we wanted to pursue at some point. As we began to add biological children to our family, we continually looked at adoption as another way of adding to our family and spoke with others who had adopted. We have waited for a long time, but we are now at the point in our lives where we a ready and able to add to our family through adoption.

We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he or she grows up.

Help us bring home our son!

December 14, 2017

We are overjoyed to be matched with our son!  Now we are in the final weeks before travel!  We have been overwhelmed by God’s provision through out this process and just want to say thanks to each of you who have sacrificed and given so generously so that we could bring home our son.  Our donation page here at Lifesong will remain open until the end of the year.  We only need $3,500 more to meet our goal that will help us with the remaining amount we need before we can travel.  Would you consider giving an amount of $50 or $100?  No amount is too small!  Can you help share our story with others by sharing on social media?  35 people giving $100 a piece would help us travel to bring home our son!  Thanks again for your generorousity and pray that God would bless you during this Christmas season.
