The Bazzel household is about to change!
We are excited to announce the birth of our second son, Samuel “Sammy” Scott Bazzel. He was born on July 17th, 2025.
We are also matched with Edmund’s biological sibling, a baby due in January. You read that correctly – 2 newborns in 6 months! Sleep? Who needs it! This baby was unexpected; however, we are thrilled to adopt Edmund’s biological sibling.
We have been blessed and humbled by all of you who walked alongside us and helped us bring Edmund home in 2023 and walked with us through a failed adoption in 2024. As we embark on this journey again, we are humbly asking for the following:

2. We are humbly asking if you would consider helping us financially. Adopting a baby is a steep financial undertaking, and we have been forever blessed by all of you who have helped us bring our son home. We would greatly appreciate any support, as we are also turning over every rock financially to hopefully bring 2 new Bazzel’s home in the next six months. We continued using the same page for our January baby so the total needed is both adoptions combined. Sammy’s adoption cost is complete and now we are looking to meet the $90,000 goal for our January baby.

Lifesong has been blessed with partners who underwrite all U.S. administrative and fundraising costs (TMG Foundation and other partners). That means 100% of your donation will go directly to the adoption.
- In following IRS guidelines, your donation is to Lifesong for Orphans. This organization retains full discretion over its use, but intends to honor the donor’s suggested use.
- Lifesong is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization. Individual donations of $50 or more and yearly donations totaling $250 or more will receive a tax-deductible receipt. Receipts for donations under $50 will gladly be sent upon request.
