We met in 2017 on a blind date. Our friends set us up because we were both looking for “someone in their 30s who loves God”. We were married in 2018. Things worked out well from that first date! Brandon has 2 biological sons and Andrea has 2 daughters through foster care. In 2021 We began praying about adoption because it kept coming up in our thoughts and conversations. We have joint custody with our children. As full as that can be at times, we are compelled to provide a home for a child who is in need. We believe adoption is what God wants us to do and he has given us the resources to do it. If you’re looking for the picture perfect story, this is not it. We have been through difficult trials but God has redeemed our story through his abundant grace. We are adopting because there is a need and we know God brought us together to serve his purposes on this earth. We enjoy our life together but we know its not all about us. God has provided a home and caring community of support around us to accomplish the plans he has for us. It is truly humbling to be on this journey of adoption.
