After years of praying, planning, and preparing, we are now in the final stages of adopting a little boy from Poland and we couldn’t be more excited. He’s almost 2 years old, full of curiosity and joy, and we hope to bring him home this summer.
Adoption has been on our hearts for a long time. We’ve always felt a deep desire to grow our family in a way that reflects our commitment to care for others and create a loving, stable home for a child in need.
Last year, after months of waiting and uncertainty, we were unexpectedly approached by our agency with the file of a little boy who had recently become eligible for adoption. As we read through his file, we both felt an overwhelming sense of peace like we were reading about our son. There was no dramatic moment, just a quiet, steady confirmation that this was the child we had been waiting for.
Since then, we’ve been working through the complex process of international adoption. We have been busy submitting paperwork, completing home studies, and coordinating with both U.S. and Polish authorities. Every step has brought us closer to our son, and now we’re approaching the most financially demanding part: final travel, legal fees, and in-country lodging.
We’re thrilled to share that we’ve received a $7,000 matching grant from the Tim Tebow Foundation Adoption Fund, administered by Lifesong for Orphans. Every dollar you give. up to $7,000, will be matched dollar-for-dollar, doubling your impact and helping us bring our son home.
