Dear Family and Friends,
Many of you have already heard the exciting news that we are growing our family through adoption AGAIN! We are adopting an infant from right here in central Florida! As a family, we have been excitedly praying for our child and birth parents.
Our adoption story is one that began many decades ago, unknowingly. Michelle was diagnosed with a childhood cancer, rhabdomyosarcoma at the age of 22 months old. She was a patient at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and received life-saving radiation and chemotherapy as a small child. Consequently the amount of radiation she received caused her infertility.
Fast forward 30 years and we began the adoption process for our first child in 2015 and were thrilled to welcome our daughter in January 2017 by adoption. She was born in Arizona and we have loved her birth family from the very beginning. We are so grateful we can talk on the phone, video chat, send pictures and letters, and stay in touch with her extended family through social media. We never would have imagined how beautiful an open adoption would be! We can’t wait to see how God grows our family again by adoption. Thank you for your continued love and support in this incredible faith journey of adoption!
