The secret’s out – We are adopting!
Josh and I will be married 7 years in August and together 12 years this month. We couldn’t ask for a better way to celebrate our dating anniversary than sharing the news that we are on a journey to grow our family through adoption. Adding to our family through adoption has been on our hearts for many years. We didn’t know when and how that would happen, but through our recent infertility struggles God has confirmed our thoughts. We have known this is our path for well over a year now and have spent time saving and preparing for what He has in store for us.
As of May, we are home study approved through a local adoption agency! We will be able to enroll in their program as soon as we obtain the full funds to adopt. That’s why we need your help to reach our goal and continue on in this journey! Once in the program, we will be able to set up a perspective parent profile and present ourselves to birth mothers/parents within the United States. We are seeking a domestic infant adoption with the possibility of multiples or an older sibling.
The first $4,000 of your donations here will be fully matched, dollar for dollar, through our Lifesong for Orphans grant! This is possible through our church, Community Fellowship Church, who has set up this grant opportunity. We are incredibly thankful to be chosen to receive it.
Although we are in the beginning steps of this journey, we have felt so much support and confirmation that this is the path for our lives. We are waiting with anticipation to welcome a child or children into our home!
Building your family through adoption means growing love from heartache. A birth mother’s choice to place her baby with adoptive parents is one of the hardest decisions that mother may ever make. We feel extreme gratitude for the chance to come alongside one of these women and journey with her.
What a long awaited announcement this has been and we’re so excited to share in this journey with all of you!

- Lifesong is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization. Individual donations of $50 or more and yearly donations totaling $250 or more will receive a tax-deductible receipt. Receipts for donations under $50 will gladly be sent upon request.
